Backup/Copy to new Windows Machine

I spent days perfecting the xbmc build on my windows laptop, then installed XBMC on my other windows desktop which is attached to a touch screen windows box. From my laptop, I copied the program files dir and overwrote the touchscreen pc, and the xbmc from my personal user directory to over write the directory in the personal user directory on the touchscreen machine.
When I fire up xbmc on the touch screen, it contains nothing. None of my sources, none of my video images, cd images..it's empty :(
any ideas? i'm surprised if nothing else it doesn't show my sources.....

Oh - the question :) Any ideas why the settings aren't copying?
