I recently ran into an issue when I decided to run the windows XBMC software on Windows. I found that I could not use my hard drive labeled as P. Well, this was a little annoying but easy to fix without changing my drive letters. Windows has a little known ability that Linux user's regularly use, that ability is symbolic links or soft links. Windows has had this ability since Win2k. It is very easy to create a symbolic link which is created on your C drive as a folder that in turn points to a folder on the respective drive. Technically, Microsoft calls them junctions. Just do a search on google for windows symbolic links. There are a variety of tools out there, some are even gui based like Junction Link Magic. Easy to do and it works...
