I am trying to get my favorite Internet radio stations to work with XBMC. I have followed instrcutions and created several "stream" files, but nothing works. XBMC just get stuck or report that it is not possible to connect. At the same time other players can play these files without problems.
Examples:
filename: nashe-192.strm
http://mp3.nashe.ru:80/nashe-192
filename: nashe-192.m3u
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0,nashe-192
http://mp3.nashe.ru:80/nashe-192
#EXTINF:0,Nashe128
mms://wma.nashe.ru:80/Nashe128
#EXTINF:0,nashe-192.m3u
http://www.nashe.ru/nashe-192.m3u

What do I do wrong?
Thanks and regards,
Andrey

Same problem (but with other radio streams)
Already opened Ticket 5519 added http://xbmc.org/trac/ticket/5519
Glad to see I'm not the only one having trouble streaming radio channels. It has something to do with the incompatable networking capabilties on the Windows platform. This does not only affects radio streams, but also scripts and plugins which seem to work perfectly on the Xbox
Same Problem here as well. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.
Have you guys tried one of the newer SVN builds ?
problem still there?

There are several build out there.........each addressing their own specific problems, be it CPU usage, tearing or sound issues or otherwise. What I'm trying to say is that a given build MAY fix the issue in this topic but will probably result in a new problem.
The incompatible network issues have been here for a long while. Haven't seen any conclusive talk about resolving this issue.
But if you can show me something that should take care of this problem. I'd be happy to try a new build.

I'm just saying, if you try the latest SVN build, and the problem is still there, you can update your ticket, this will help the dev's track down the issue
