How do i display audio information?

I can get movie information but i can't seem to get CD info up on the screen here are the screenshots:

I CBA with that crappy hosting site so I'm going to assume that hitting "i", "o" or "t" on the keyboard will show you what you want.

Thanks for the reply, if i hit the "i" it brings up a different screen (with the info i want)...is there anyway to already have info list like the movies do?

The music scanner only reads tags and local covers by default. There is an option somewhere to do the info lookup at the same time (slow) or you can just do it manually after the fact when you're actually interested. The option is either in settings > music > library or the settings for w/e scraper you choose.

Thank for sticking with this one, sorry i forgot to mention i already ticked those settings... i would like to see the album info like the movies do, but without pressing the "i"

also no matter what i do i can't change the music scraper in settings > music > library tis tuck on allmuic.com

a you can sees the movies have the feature but the music dosent..

Right, I don't use that skin so I dunno what view it actually provides, but the huge void space leads me to believe you simply haven't scraped the info. See the wiki/manual (link in my signature) for more info on how to use scrapers.

OK,

I'm back after updating 727 CD's with ID Tag info,

All the info has been scraped (I can see the all the info when i press "i") and it still dosen't work...

Can you give it a try?

If it dosen't work would it be possible to add it?

althekiller can you please tell me where the source code file for "info list" is?

so i can have a look at it..

i found the file:

and the found the code (strReview)

but i wonder (i don't really have a clue)if the display out put of "Info List" is coded only for movies (m_strPlot) and thus missing the info from (strReview) to display it?

What i'm trying to say is: "i bet the Info list is only programmed to pick up the movie info only and not the music info when in the "info List" display"

I opened up the database and the info is there, its still not showing up..???

I do not even know how to switch views in Mediastream, so I am no help there.
But this is at least partially implemented in the PM3.HD Media info view, so I suggest you take this up in the Mediastream subforum.

Ahhhh..thats what althekiller was on about i thought (newbie here) that INFOVIEW was the skin...Doh..!

Now i understand its MediaStream is the skin and differnet skins display different info...
