I'm running XBMC in intrepid via the PPA.
However I've never got very far with it, playing videos particularly when seeking in videos causes XBMC to freeze up and repeat the same sound over and over again (about 0.25 of a second of sound repeated on a loop).
Logging in via SSH and Killing the XBMC process works and gets you out of the frozen XBMC but unfortunately no amount of killing processes seems to get rid of the droning sound so I've no idea how to get rid of that other than doing a complete reboot.
I had a look around and can't find any issues that sound the same. Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue and point me in the direction of any resolutions or is it a new one.
If so what's the best way to report bugs to the dev team?
