View Full Version : is there a 66 stage plugin for xbmc?

It would be awesome if there is, a forum search doesn't bring up any results nor does a google or am I searching the wrong place?
this is totally awesome, I found the 66stage plugin for boxee. As boxee is a fork of xbmc I downloaded and placed the plugin to my xbmc folder and it works. I am using the xtv skin and it allows me to even resume the movies from where I last ended the stream from which is amazing. There is 427 movies on 66 stage plugin. Strange because the website lists 660. And in the plugin you only have divx movies, so your not getting full functionality. There is no cover art either. But all in all it works and it works really good. Hopefully you coders could code this plugin better!

I tried the plugin 66stage on XBMC, worked fine on XBOX, but make XBMC windows (Atlantis) freezing, other than it is very nice on XBOX!
I'm on windows xp + sp3 using atlantis 8.10 and it works fine
EDIT: I only see 2 plugins for boxee, do you know if there are any scripts?

all we have are two meager plugins, at the moment.
but we are working on some other stuff.

mad props to riegersn... he knocked that 66 plugin out in one night.
also, limiting the plugin to only divx movies was intentional.
it's unlikely that the rest of the site will be added... but, that's riegersn's call.

Yea that 66stage was def a one night stand. not sure if i want to build it up anymore or not. Not really too fond of the site my self, but hey its more content. a lot of the other links on that site are youtube, veoh... and others which have already been knocked out with plugins so we'll see what happens.
The GameTrailers plugin is also available on our site, I started from scratch when I couldn't get the original gametrailers xbmc plugin working in boxee.
I also have a secret project (http://boxee-plugins.blogspot.com/2008/12/what-could-be-better.html) going on right now that involves a plugin and some torrents :-), which is taking up most of my time. However I plan to beef up the gametrailers one soon.
As for the 66stage plugin, if there is demand enough maybe you will see some updates :)

Can I ask, will torrents within boxee stream or do you have to download them first and stream while they are downloading?
I can't see streaming torrents ever being possible.But what do I know.
