when it says 'too many consecutive failed items closing' (I don't think that's word for word, but just how I remember it)
What does that mean?
If that happens once then is it likely you will get the same message on any media file you try to stream? So is it best to restart xbmc. The thing is I am getting this message on many media file constantly one after the other with many different plug ins.

The thing is I am getting this message on many media file constantly one after the other with many different plug ins.It simply means it can not playback whatever you are trying to play. More or less the site changed and the plugin is broken.

Or the media file has been removed , a connection Http error.
Try looking at your xbmc log, before posting it may help you help yourself.

66 stage was working so well yesterday and now it's not working at all. I just get on every movie consecutive files failed. Is there a cache I can clear in xbmc, how do I do so?
Check the threads regarding cache clearing, try searching.
