Movie Trailers before playing movie???

Hi,

I have a question that, even though i searched meticulously for, i cannot for the life of me find an answer to.

So, my question is whether it is possible or not to play a few random trailers before watching my movie??

Now, i know something like this is possible with the AMT (Apple Movie Trailer) plugin, however i want to be able to use my local trailers?

Ideally, i would like to be able to select a movie to watch and before actually playing the movie it would show me either two or three random trailers from my locally stored trailers.

Does anybody know how i would go about achieving this?

I think there's some playlist functionality in XBMC if you check the documentation.

i never seriously NEVER understood why ppl want to recreate the sheit from watching a movie in the cinema. what's the next, you want simulated crowd noise, crackling pop corn bags and the silhouettes of that fucker on the row in front of you added as well? ;)

use the Home Theater plugin, it's exactly what you're looking for. You can install it from the Apple Movie Trailers script in the settings. I personally kinda like the cinema experience, but then thats just me. i guess i've never had to live with others ruining the experience to taint it for me

Don't forget the kids that shouldn't be in the theater laughing, making stupid comments or jokes during the movie, and lets not forget some dumbass with a laser pointer pointing it at the screen and cell phones going off!

this may be odd, but i've actually never ever had anything like this happen with me at the movies. And we don't get ads at our theater either lol, thank god. i didn't even know they were doing that some places until somewhat recently

i mean it was recently that i found out. until the past year, i was living in town of like 20,000 people out in the middle of nowhere, and the most complicated thing i've seen them do is they recently started doing the movie trivia stuff before teh film starts
