Does anyone have an update on the audio downmixing status on the windows port?
Ive been using XMBC for over a month now and i do find it THE best of all the media center programs but the problem i have at the moment is quiet audio.
This (from my searching) is due to the problem of audio downmixing from 5.1 surround to analogue 2.0 speakers. Unfortunatly i do not yet have surround sound speakers so im limited to the TV speakers ???
im using the atlantis (8.10) build and i did try to use the linux port but unforunatly the graphics card isnt really that good at OpenGL thanks to intel's lack of drivers. (im using a spare laptop and it works perfectly well in windows for the time being apart from the audio annoyance).
