I'm having a really odd playback issue with every video that I try to play:

Clearly there's some weird ghosting/scaling/something going on.

To answer the obvious questions:
- The files play back just fine in every other player (VLC, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, etc.)
- This happens on trailers streamed from Apple using the included script in addition to movies stored on my system in a wide variety of formats/codecs
- The rest of the UI does not exhibit this behavior at all
- It happens no matter what aspect ratio I force it into
- My drivers are up to date on my Radeon X800
- I'm using Vista64
- I've tried all of the default settings and fiddled with every video setting I can find and the problem occurs no matter what
- It's totally consistent. It happens in windowed mode, full screen mode, and every screen resolution and/or aspect ratio.

Let me know if there's any more info that I can provide.

Thanks!

For reference, here are some more screenshots to show that it behaves normally when it's not playing or streaming a video file:

I'm taking the screenshots in windowed mode, but it happens full-screen as well. This is on a 17" 4:3 LCD straight off of my computer.

If you compare players then use their OpenGL renderer to compare (vlc).
for your ghosting:
