change order of threads?

sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but when i open a thead to read it is back to front, for me anyway. it shows the last post first, is there a way to display the first post in the thread first? i have had a poke around but i can´t work it out. thanks if anyone can tell me how.

See your control panel options. "Edit Options" link seems to have something in it about thread order.
