Help Installing Pyhton

Could somebody please help with installing python??

I have an appleTV, running xbmc.... and it seems i have mounted the python installer, but im stuck!

Any ideas?

XBMC comes with it's own python interpreter. All you need to install is scripts and plugins (see the wiki)

I just find it strange that nearly none of the plug-ins work.

They say 'running', but thats about it.

CNN, for example...

is cnn a script or plugin.

if you have plugins in the correct place. make sure you have a source in the correct section

eg
plugin://video/

that way they should auto show and run properly. otherwise you need to add the plugins properly. see sticky for a tutorial.

Don't really know about the Mac platform, but on the Windows platform, XBMC has serious issues running scripts and plugings
