Apple TV update

I was wondering if anyone could help, i had an update for apple tv so i updated and now xbmc is not showing in the menu, should i not have updated???

to prevent your ATV from update you should do the following
1) open terminal
2) type: ssh frontrow@AppleTV.local
3) type password: frontrow
4) type: sudo bash -c 'echo "127.0.0.1 mesu.apple.com" >> /etc/hosts'
