NO SOUND WITH WMV on mac

I have the latest Perian downloaded. When I play the hd 5.1 wmv files through quicktime it plays but no audio when I play through xbmc?

any one help with this.

nobody has rev'd or atleast nobody has implemented the codec in ffmpeg. not much we can do
