Is there a way to replace the sound file that plays as the Xbox boots up? I really hate it. The one that plays with the T3CH logo is also annoying (personally, no offense to T3CH!)
I'd be happy with no sound at all, but it might be fun to put in a sound file with something custom, my own music, or maybe the THX sound... something, anything. :-)
Try a later build... Beta2 has XBMC logo and PM-HD has no sound at start-up... or doesnt seem to have on my TV...
Read the on-line manual with regards to putting your own sound in.
Thanks for the tip. I'll look in to that for the XBMC startup portion, but the noise that really annoys me is the sound as the Xbox itself boots, before XBMC is ever loaded. I'm guessing this is totally separate from the XBMC loading sounds.
it's called 'flubber'.
search for that on a xbox related page such as xbox-scene and who knows what you might find....
You'll have to hack/modify your Xbox BIOS to disable the flubber-animation. As Spiff already suggested search ie. xbox-scene or google on how to accomplish this....

Explains that you pretty much need to do some hardware modding. Not worth it for me.
