hey guys so i have the xbmc iphone app installed ..and it used to work perfect with my xbox..just had the ip in there and that was it..but it keeps saying error connecting to xbmc when i put the ip addy of the atv - is it on a different port number? the default is set to 80
please help - also is it possible to use the iphone app as a remote keyboard for the atv

It's just an interface to the http server running on the xbmc isn't it? You need to turn on the http server in the control panel.

Having the same prob. The http server to enable is the menu item "Enable Web Server" under ">settings>network>servers"? Enabled, but still my iphone states "error connecting to xbmc".

Same here. Changed the port to 8080 which is what is on the ATV screen from 80, now I get "no media found" for music, videos, etc. It seems to login, but won't show any media.
UPDATE: my mistake. I needed to go into the menus and look for other media, since the music files are on my PC.
