Alright, go ahead, fuss at me and rtfm me for asking about something with documentation - but I have a legitimate question.

The Gyration Remote for Windows Media Center is apparently rather popular. I have it and it works amazing. But it's a little odd. It's not IR - it connects through a usb port and I think communicates through RF. The odd thing is that it is BOTH a remote and keyboard as far as Linux is concerned - the gyration function is recognized as mouse function, the keypresses are recognized as keyboard function (it is recognized as two devices on both OSX and XP as well).
I made a keymap.xml, but how do I find out what xbmc reads as input to remap them? <displayremotecodes> apparently does nothing, and (and somehow the act of creating an advancedsettings.xml borked my xorg ??? ). If anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I'd gladly post the completed keymap.

In this (http://blog.xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36738) thread there are other remotes like mine mentioned - with keypresses recognized as a keyboard instead of as a "remote." The thread also mentions logging of keypresses in the xbmc log. When I get a chance I'm going to check that out and see if it helps me make a keymap.xml.
