@Mac and Apple TV users, if you enjoy using XBMC and would like to see our community grow, then you too can help out by promoting XBMC, like voting for and/or review XBMC on sites like these:
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/28851
http://osx.iusethis.com/app/xbmcmediacenter

Thank you in advance!

no problem! we are very happy to hear that xbmc has made its way onto the atv now! My dreams have came true! From this point on lets all work together to help improve this and make this the best media center ever! Like it isn't already! :)

I am registered with Version Tracker but I couldn't find XBMC there. Is there something the developer has to do to get listed on those sites? Or, do you have to just wait? I'll keep checking there post a link when I see it.

I wrote a post a week ago about the release of XBMC for Apple TV and I'm very excited to see this and will hopefully be purchasing a unit soon.

Here's my post:

I'm giving my mother an Apple TV for Christmas, I'm going to load XBMC on it and document her progress w/ using it. I don't have a blog or anything, but if someone would be interested in posting an article if I write one it might be a good showcase to see how XBMC can be used by someone who is computer illiterate.

XBMC has been wife-approved in our household since the XBMC+XBox days.
Migrating to XBMC+ATV as we have done recently only added the extra step of launching XBMC through the main ATV menu. I think most women (young & old) without any great technical background should be fine with it. My opinion anyway
