Get current mp3 info

hi!

on my site (http://www.hiphoplager.de) i am working on a database about german, austrian and swiss hiphop music. it contains artists, releases, cover, lyrics and more.

now i want to start several modules (for certain programs) which allow it to receive lyrics for the current song (if available).

since i am using xbmc for myself, i would appreciate starting with this one :lol: .

could anyone provide a short piece of code which reads out
a) the name of the current song
b) the mp3 info of it
??

no, it is not possible to do it with python atm.
will be added after xbmc 1.0 is out
