Hi there,

I've got 2 monitors here on my 8800GT, one with res 1680x1050, one with 1280x1024. How can I configure this to get it fullscreen on my secondary monitor? Because when I select full screen it goes full screen on main monitor.

It works for me except the background image is not working properly. Will there ever be an option in XBMC itself to open up on the other monitor?

If you could get into some detail here, I'm sure someone will be able to help you with your problem.

If the resolution should be off in general, navigate to settings, appearance to change the resolution (then test it using the option directly underneath it, and confirm or discard your changes).

If just the GUI is off, calibrate the video output to get rid of the overscan compensation, that sometimes kicks in when XBMC is changing resolutions to work on different screens in windowed mode.

If you get a black bar on top of the XBMC layer when it is running in the background, once you alt+tab (or win, or...) to another application, hit ctrl+alt+del while XBMC is running in the foreground, then esc as soon as the ctrl+alt+del selection screen pops up and after that also this problem should be gone (tested on vista).

frotsen's little application is beautiful in its simplicity and works flawlessly in all kinds of usage scenarios I tested.

For everyone who hasn't got a grip yet on what this conversation is about, start reading on from frotsen's posting on page 3 of this thread:

Well I was talking 'bout the ultramon settings.

If your background gets messed up, you should set your background to centered and not to tile.

So i've got it working now, but I can't get my mouse of the screen any more. As soon as I click on my other monitor, XBMC minimizes

Can't replicate this, mouse works fine on my primary monitor. I've disabled the mouse usage in XBMC though - maybe it's that that does the trick... :)

I've disabled it aswell. But when I click it goes off. Maybe its because im using it with the MCE Remote?

So i can still not use the fullscreen and click the other monitor without minimizing. Who has the solution?
