Downmix 5.1 to stereo?

Hi guys, I'm a long time user of XBMC for the Xbox, but new to the Windows version. I've installed the Beta1 edition on my Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H with onboard video and sound (audio output over HDMI). However, in the current setup, I only have 2 channel output from my Samsung LNT5271 as I have no receiver set up yet. Most of the BlueRay movies that I have only have 5.1 audio. If they do, is there a way to downmix to 2 channel? Also, if the files have multiple audio streams, then is there a way to select between the different audio streams?
