Hello,

I have xbmc running on XP and connect to my 36" lcd 720p Tv. When I set the resolution to 1024x768 full screen and play a video, it shows the window frame with the minimize, maximize and close buttons and not all of the video. Is there anyway to set this up correctly?

Last I checked 720p was 1280x720 ;) Most 720p TVs don't use this res either though. I can't remember off had what it is but it's NOT 1024x768.

That's the native res of my plasma and I use VGA.

I am at work right now, so I can't check but can that resolution be set in XBMC?

It can if your graphics card is capable of doing that resolution.

Many/most 720p Plasmas are native 1024x768.

Many/most 720p Plasmas are native 1024x768.Then they are not true native 720p displays but only "720p input compatible", see:

and
