Video play judders

I have install xbmc on my debian Linux.
It runs fine, but the viedo Playback of AVI's (Xvid) judders extreme. Audio playback runs fine.
When i play the movie with mplayer, then it runs perfect.
The hardware is an 1 GB RAM / AM2 3800 AThlon x2

repcom whats it say in your log? I am getting similiar issues with xvid with stuttering and even the vid stopping. Please check your log

This is what is in my log file tons of em until eventually video will freeze. Happens when playing and even more so if fast forwarding.

Sorry, im a beginner with xbmc.
Wich Log ? In syslog are nothing with xbmc !?
