There are alot of hardware questions on this forum.
Maby we should try to get som kind of form where people could fill in wich mobo gpu etc that they have and also wich os and maby have some standard test clip that they could enter how it peforms.

What would that solve? Then you'll end up with a big list of stuff no one wants to sift through and you're back to the same problem. Reading those threads won't kill you, I promise. :)
depends on how you handel the list.
if you kan make the list show systems that handel 1080p sorted after motherboards etc.
it's no problem for me becus i alredy have a working system.

That should fill up fairly quickly at least with the most common hardware. Perhaps a page for Windows and a page for Linux, on the Linux page you might add a distro column.

I just posted this question earlier today. It'd be great to see a wiki of working configurations. I'd like to build a Linux box to replace my Xbox, but have no idea what works and what doesn't work as far as motherboards, graphics cards, media remotes, etc. Would be nice to have a list of known working system configurations to go by. If there some issue with using a particular mobo or graphics card, it'd be nice to know that as well too in order to avoid making the same mistakes.
