i send my thanks to the team for a great job that they should be justifiably proud of.
most of the suggestions i have seen have been tweaks to the program so i would like to suggest something a little different.
whilst the majority of people here, due to the complexity of the task are more than technically qualified, to allow a wider audience (parents, friends and relatives) to sample the delights of xbmc how about a pc front-end to upload media and modify the config. i can see a great many people who could use this but are limited by thier it skills. most are pretty familar with a pc so a prog on the lines of itunes/musicmatch etc to rip cd/dvd would be a great leap forward in terms of usability. if it had id tagging, auto freedb and imdb support all the better.
being pc based it would also be completely legal.
