Sorry but I can pretty much say with certainty that USB code for the Xbox360 controller will not be added into XBMC for Xbox, (as with all USB devices not supported nativly by Microsoft XDK, the time and skill required to add them is not worth the effort).

You would be much better of looking for a "joypad converter" hardware solution, just like there are hardware adapters that allow you to use PlayStation and PlayStation 2 controllers on the original Xbox, you would have to find (or make) an hardware adapter that converts the signal from an Xbox360 controller into signals that the original Xbox can understand, (in other works emulating the original Xbox controller, fooling the Xbox into thing it is a standard Xbox controller that you connect). If the demand is high enough then someone will usually manufacture them and sell on sites such as play-asia.com (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-14-71-gm-49-en.html)

You are probably much better of discussing this on the xbox-scene.com (http://www.xbox-scene.com) forums instead.

I assume you want to use a 360 controller on a windows port of XBMC? If so, then yes. More info here: http://russ-clark.blogspot.com/

There has some success in using the 360 controller under Linux. This post might prove helpful:

@didgydont, seems I may have misunderstood your question, are you using XBMC for Linux, Mac, Windows, or Xbox?

???
