Tutorial: Remotexbmc 2.0 - all xbox remote control

Ce logiciel fonctionne avec toutes les télécommandes XBOX1, il sert a utiliser votre récepteur et votre télécommande sur votre pc avec le logiciel XBMC.

1/ installer votre recepteur infrarouge de votre xbox sur port USB soit en démontant le kit+un peu de soudure voir les images ci dessous ou bien en achatant un adaptateur USB.

2/ installer les drivers de votre télécommande qui vous sont fournis avec le setup d'instalation du logiciel REMOTEXBMC 2.0 (http://figuralbanks.free.fr/)

3/ Installer REMOTEXBMC 2.0 soit dans un repertoire a part ou bien dans le repertoire XBMC ce qui vous permettras en éditant le fichier REMOTEXBMC.INI a la ligne : STARTXBMC=TRUE de demarer automatiquement XBMC au démarage.
Pour le mode EVENTCLIENT l'adresse et le port sont : 127.0.0.1 3670 n'oubliez pas pas d'ouvrir votre server WEB dans les configurations XBMC avec les infos ci dessus.
Pour passer en mode automatique cliquez sur l'icone dans la barre de tache et changer le mode actuel, au dessus les informations de votre materiel apparaissent.
Pour une meilleur utilisation du mode automatique n'oubliez pas de remplacer le fichier KEYMAP.XML qui ce trouve dans le repertoire system xbmc par celui fournis avec REMOTEXBMC.

Demarage en SHELL:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"Shell"="c:\xbmc\remotexbmc.exe"

There are several drivers,the first version is a very long reaction. Do you have install the drivers includ in the setup? What version of skin do you use?

i just copied the 2 files to my program folder and overwrited the old ones.... now it's working...i keep pressing the up/down button and its scolling down......:D:D:D:D

Your latest update still doesn't enable autoscroll for me. I am running Beta 1 on XP SP3. I might be misunderstanding you though due to the language difference.

Yes. I have the original Microsoft Remote Control from the XBOX DVD Playback Kit.

The program still works great, it just doesn't autoscroll if you hold down the up or down button.

The files from post #13 work, but it doesn't scroll any faster, which I think is the real advantage for navigating through a large media library.

The files from post #16 do not enable autoscroll for me.

What did you mean by 3 and 6 key? Don't those adjust volume?

The latest version (3.0) has fixed the lag, and the autoscroll bug for me. I'm using an original XBOX Remote (Made in Indonesia). It now works flawless! Thanks MoDe!

if you mean by scrolling pressing the up/down button longer will scroll up down, then it's working fine with my....

i've installed the new version 3 and it seems to be working fine....even now it react to the pressed buttons faster when u do fast forward and then press play to go back to normal speed....just like the original good old xbox

so this is a big improvement for me now....

acer aspire x3200 with win xp sp3 and xbmc beta 1 connected via hdmi to 47lg6000 display
