View Full Version : How do I install the Aeon skin in XBMC for Linux?

Someone can help a super noob to instal this them on hardy xbmc plox.
I've tried to copy that to theme folder but i can't.

Copy the whole folder to ~/.xbmc/skin then go into Appearance settings and change to it.

i've tried to copy the whole directory but when i look the directory i see that inside ther's nothing and i see the icon with an X on it and i don't understand what it means.

I have copy the directory using terminal because dragging it directly don't work.
What i am suppose to do???

Im very nooob on linux sorry and thx for further help :sad:

ok, i suppose you downloaded aeon archive to your desktop and extracted it, fenerating an Aeon14 folder... inside this folder there is an Aeon folder containing all the needed files... so in the terminal you can do cp -r ~/Desktop/Aeon14/Aeon/ ~/.xbmc/skin
now you should have an Aeon folder within ~/.xbmc/skin and you can select Aeon skin under appearance, that's all :)

great post. Would anyone know how to install Aeron Skin in xbox version of xbmc? I'm a nooob as well.....
