So my friend's brother softmodded my XBOX for me and it has XMBC on it and works great, haven't gotten it onto my home network for media sharing yet but idk if I even can wirelessly... I have the Surreal 64, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis Emulators on my xbox and they work well, but I can only play oldschool games for so long before I get bored... I am looking for a way to put XBOX games (namely Fable, but really as many as I can find) onto my hard drive so that I can play them too. My problem is I don't exactly know how since I didn't mod it, and I don't know where to look for a game database to get the games from in the first place... Can anyone help a noobie out please?

This forum really is only for XBMC related stuff, so i'll point you in the direction of xbox-scene.com forums (you should be looking at an app called DVD2Xbox i believe).
Once you have your games on your drive, great!
If you have trouble accesssing them through XBMC, here may be the place to come. :)

http://xbmc.org/forum/faq.php7. Don't discuss (or link to any) pirated, shared movies, music, pictures, retail software, etc!
8. Don't ask for or link to any illegal (or 'gray') copies of copyrighted materials in any form!
9. Don't ask how to get or copy/backup games, videos, music, (even if you own the original)!
10. Don't ask for or link to Xbox binaries or executables compiled with MS Xbox SDK (XDK)! Xbox games you buy, rent, or borrow from friends.

Of course, that's what I meant Gamester :) And shorty thanks for the help, didn't realize this wasn't something that dealt with XMBC directly but thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Heya
I found DVD2Xbox, downloaded it and ran it as an app in from XBMC.
DVD2Xbox hung at it's splash screen.
Any ideas chaps?
I also tried to run it via the XBMC File Manager, same results.
Anyone have experience of this?
Gotcha !!
It was a typo in the main .XML file, see below:

Runs ok now...will complete some tests asap.
Hi
Just 'Backed Up' my Star Wars Battlefield game to my HDD with DVD2Xbox after editing the .xml file.
Works fine.
Good little app.
