Hi all, I am running XBMC on my 37" LCD what has a native resolution of 1366x768 and is capable of 720p/1080i and obviously running at its native res. Which out of the 3 above would be the best to run XBMC and video's?
Thanks
I always try to use the native resolution where it's possible then there's less scaling going on in the display.
Use the native resolution of the panel if it will take it over hdmi/vga, otherwise I'd use 720p. You're dealing with progressive video files and a progressive display, so interlacing then deinterlacing the output probably isn't a great idea, especially since the panel can't resolve more than 768 lines.
