I have exactly the same problem.

I would also like to know how to MAP X10 remote keys into XBMC functions.

Kill X10net.exe process & remote is not working anymore.
You have to find a solution to use the DLL without x10net.exe.

If you have a solution, let us know how to do this ;-)

For disabled X10 control XP or VISTA edit the file : portcommands.x10

Si tu as la méthode, tu peux envoyer, ca pourra tjr servir :;):

Peus tu me donner ton NUmero IDVENDOR et PRODUCTID

Tu le trouve ou le IDVENDOR ?

Ce qui se trouve sur ma télécommande :
P/N : 20017670
FCC ID :B4S20016398

Pour communiquer avec XBMC, je passe par les ctl X10 via :

Private Sub X10Control_X10Command(ByVal bszCommand As String, _
ByVal eCommand As X10Ctl.EX10Command, _
ByVal lAddress As Long, _
ByVal EKeyState As X10Ctl.EX10Key, _
ByVal lSequence As Long, _
ByVal eCommandType As X10Ctl.EX10Comm, _
ByVal varTimestamp As Variant)

Call X10Remote(bszCommand, eCommand, lAddress, EKeyState, lSequence, eCommandType, varTimestamp)

End Sub

Et toi, comment tu pilotes la DLL via les commandes du fichier portcommands.x10 ?
Perso, j'ai pas compris comment tu arrives à piloter la DLL à partir de ce fichier.

Please respect that this is an English only forum, (at least so far).

Thank you for understanding

Gamester 17:
don't worry we understand, but it's more easier to talk in our mother tang
for some stuf like technical information, to be sure to understand.

(Maybe a french section can be created ? :D)

Mode2006:
Ok, but you don't give a way for the "how to" control this DLL with the
"portcommands.x10" file :/

Guys, this isn't an english only forum so far. I've been translating for mode for a few weeks. He's the creator of the remotexbmc application. When they have something worth translating, I'll share it with everyone else. In the mean time, allow them to develop the application please.

You have a French forum at http://www.xbmc.frMaybe a french section can be created?Maybe at some point but for that we would first have to find some French speaking people that we trust willing to moderate that forum long term, and to not discriminate we would have to start at least a German and Spanish forum as well and find moderators for those too.

I'm sure the odd french post by people developing software or parts of xbmc is acceptable within the English section of this forum.

I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't be.

I'm sure the odd french post by people developing software or parts of xbmc is acceptable within the English section of this forum.

I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't be.The main reason is that we do not have the resources to moderate it in case people start trolling and flaming or insulting other forum members in languages that the members of Team-XBMC who currently act as forum moderators do not speak. Thus it is easier to draw the line in black and white than to have a gray zone. Right now we have so many things that needs to be done before the Atlantis release that we do not have the time to look at it, maybe after we release Atlantis we can begin to look into it. I have created a ticket on trac so that I will remember http://xbmc.org/trac/ticket/4806

This action is really appreciated.
I like people with open mind.

What ever language is used by users, the most important is that we can
release independant application to help the others one. This is a part of
XBMC community spirit.

For sure my english is not perfect, I never learned this language at school,
(leaved school when i'm 14 years old) but some others users have more
difficulty than me to understand english. Talking another language to be sure
to understand technical information to help them in their language I think it's
not a crime.

Just imagine you go on a french board because they talk about something
you need or know. No one's gonna blame you if you trying to get some help
in english. Can you imagine you have your answer in french, because it's a
french board ? That's not cool.

Just wait & see from now
Thanks you very much Gamester17 to be open like this.

PS : is there a date (around) when final version of Atlantis will be released ?
