Hi all,
I'm in the process of improving the age old YouTube script...

Hi I have written a plugin using google data api you can have a look at.
Please let me know if you need any help.I have stopped maintaining the plugin for a while cuze I couldn't find much interest from the xbmc community in using it.I hope you can bring a new life to the script. Regards.

DUDE THIS ROCKS I HAVE TUBE ON MY XBOX!!!!!!!!!! SWEET!!!!! ok now that i have gotten that out of the way lol. is there way to make it play videos in higher quality? i know its still Wip but this is wonderful!!!! now to make a new skin for it so it looks like that of the media stream skin.

The quality is only as good as the uploaded clip I'm affraid to say....

yeah the script has been around, but it has not been working for quite sometime, its just great to see someone trying to maintain and update the script is all

The quality is only as good as the uploaded clip I'm affraid to say....
I believe youtube sends them out at a predefined quality, for bandwidth i assume. But you can choose in your profile to get high quality videos (If available).
But also without the need for profile/settings is that you can append "&fmt=6" or "&fmt18" (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=6824064) without the quotes, to a youtube video url, and you should get better quality.
Probably slready in the script anyway, but thought i'd point it out.
