H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) 1080i support?

Does XBMC support H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format? I have a video camera that take video in full HD but the format is H.264/MPEG-4 AVC 1920x1080 60 field/s
and i cant find anything to play it, so i have resortted to taking video in 1280x720 60fps, it seems to play with quicktime but jumps a little.

FFmpeg (http://www.ffmpeg.org), the codec suit that XBMC relies on supports progressive H.264 (a.k.a. MPEG-4 AVC) at all resolutions, but I am not so sure if interlaced H.264 (a.k.a.
