Well the T3CH release is about to go live with the latest version of MediaStream and that version is also now available from http://teamrazorfish.co.uk
Since the last release we've made the following changes
Added: Toast dialog
Added: Option to see fanart when browsing TV Shows list (not really advisable on Xbox)
Added: DVD menu button to Video OSD
Added: File path to video info dialogs
Added: Option to hide plot in Video OSD
Added: German translation (thanks to tjost)
Fixed: Changed ordering of menu items on home and removed the option to hide Weather menu item so as to avoid any more flashing background issues
Fixed: Clock display so it should work for all time formats
Fixed: Title on Select and Network Setup dialogs
Fixed: No Thumb label on focused thumb in Media Preview view
Fixed: Positioning of Categories selector on Settings screens
Updated: Now Playing UI on home no longer overlaps the blade when the blade is sitting to the left
Updated: Tidied up the weather on the home screen
Updated: Moved position of volume/mute icons so that they are not covered up by dialogs etc
Updated: Renamed Sounds.xml to sounds.xml to work on case sensitive O/S's
As usual, we appreciate any feedback you can give us

Is it possible to decrease the artist font size in VS? Not even Britney fits without scrolling ;)
Maybe also VS settings needs a little bit more space :)

this is a great skin!!!!, but one thing i notice at times the background images in the main menu start to cut out before the skin crashes. other then that i love the skin!!!!!!

Anyone else using this version have "Show Weather" ticked and is it not showing? Mine isnt for some reason. Fresh install BTW.

Unfortunately it's a bit broken on my Linux XBMC (Ubuntu, using latest versions from PPA).
The transition to and from "No fanart" (i.e. the default background) to a fanart show is as smooth as can be. The transition between two shows with fanart however is jerky with no blending, and sometimes even flicks up the "Configure your System" background between the two backgrounds for some reason.
Any ideas to fix this? Or is it a bug?

i am experiencing the same thing as UND3RACHI3V3R, but if i select weather and refresh, its all good again... but i find myself having to do this each and every time i load up the skin (which is amazing by the way)..this didnt happen with version 0.85.
i will try and post a log when i get in from work.

Try removing all instances of MediaStream from the guisettings.xml.
What's this 'Wallstream' view option meant to be only all it does for me is select 'List'?

Wall Stream view is still under development so you won't actually be able to select it at the moment. Should (hopefully) be in the next version though
This is an excellent release! All of my issues have cleared up. Thanks for all of your hard work on this great skin.
When listening to music, i can seem to get the menu where the controls used to be, neigther the lyrics button, anybody experiencing this?

I think the lyrics script changed recently - hopefully Manturafs is looking into fixing this for the next release.

Can the normal text font be made bigger using the "skin fonts" = bigger option I tried selecting the option under settings->Appearence->Skin Fonts->Bigger, but they just stay the same.
I selected the bigger clock & it looks to be about the right size.
If I could read the text, this would be perfect!!
I apreciate the hard work & effort this must have taken.

The Bigger font has bigger font for plots etc but is not bigger across the board. If it's the plot text that's still too small then I'm thinking of adding an Even Bigger font at some point soon.
An Even Bigger Font sounds good.
On my 28" CRT the smaller fonts using Bigger Fonts are unfotunately way too small. It'll look excellent when I get a 42" in a couple of months. But until then the fonts are just a bit too small for my SDTV

Looks great. Also looking forward to the massive fonts - the current ones are way too small on my TV :(

why is it that i can only view my videos and series from ''My Videos''
and not my movies and tv shows??
i miss something out or is that still under development?
Have you scanned them into the library as 'Movies' and 'TV Shows'?

I'm pretty sure the movie and tv section links to the movies and tv libraries... you need to scan your media into the library.

^ exactly. if you want to go to the tv show folders in files view, you'll have to change the code to make the tv shows link in the main menu to go there.

Instead, when I go into a season, I see "1 episode" for episode 1, "2 episodes" for episode 2, and so on... I'm pretty sure episode 12 of CSI doesn't, in itself, include 12 different episodes :)
The episode numbering has obviously just been moved one level too deep, and is enumerating incorrectly.

Minor thing, when finishing watching a show and you go back to your list you always go back to the top rather then staying highlighted on the video you watched. Maybe its just me. I will look around a bit. Wow there is so much you can do with this theme, so many options.
Did I mention I like it?

Changing view mode from Wall Stream to Episodes will do the trick :;):

Due to laziness, I just updated after using a previouse version for about a year and a half. I have to say the new version and skin is absolutely brilliant and several small inconveniences have been fixed. It is truly wonderful and my friends are envious. Thank you for all the hard work and effort! I do have one tiny suggestion: when paused or when skipping forward or back the progress bar is so big in the new skin that it obscures much of the image. I have a video projector and sometimes I like to pause a film and look around the scene at the details. I often revert to the old skin just to get rid of the huge bar. Is it possible for it to be just a thin sort of thing at the top or bottom? The new design is really beautiful and you people have great taste and excellent graphic and artistic sense. Thanks again for all the improvements.

If you're running it on the xbox your probably out of memory, use the info list view or decrease the thumbsize to make the other views usable on the xbox

I downloaded this skin with T3CH's release of XBMC, version 15026. I never even knew this skin existed and I'm so glad that I've found out about it!!!:shocked:
It is so crisp and clear on my 32" LCD TV running 720p, it's amazing!!!
Without doubt it is my new skin of choice! I really appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into this so all of us could enjoy a new and intriguing look on XBMC!! :cool:
An issue I've noticed with this is when I viewing the Apple Movie Trailers, in "Category Select" view, I show a category menu with no genre's present. Upon clicking the available blank slot/genre, I am then taken to another view for that blank available slot/genre, i.g. Newest, Romance, Horror, Comedy, Action, etc.. The thumbnails show up fine and all seems to work appropriately. It's just when I go to the "Category Select" view, I see no fonts to describe the corresponding genre. Did I miss something here?
In addition to this fantastic skin, I think a timer should be added to the shutdown icons listed, "Shutdown, Restart, Reload XBMC, Refresh Skin, and Dashboard". Like the "Shutdown Timer" that is available in the skin of Blackbolt's MC360. I think this would be a simple change (maybe? I don't know) that would make this skin that much more customizable.

Had the same problem with an previous release of T3CHs build of XBMC. Turned out to be a problem with the build. Same bug was left in the next build by T3CH. So got another build of XBMC from another guy, and that worked fine.
Downloaded T3CHs latest build with MediaStream some days ago, and no, movies crash once again and it won't help if I change the skin to PM3.
So I'll stay away from T3CH from now on.
Most likely it's not a problem with your skin.

if you dont now how to compile xbmc yourself the safest release is always t3ch. This is also the rel that you wil get support on when posting in forums.
t3ch has for a long time been regarded as the "default" of "official" build for xbox. i say.. do not use anything else than t3ch !
t3ch will compile and offer whatever is in the codebase at any given time. (ie bi-weekly by now).
Did you ever think about how these issues were identified and fixed before your pal compiled?

It was NOT T3CHs fault. It was an issue within XBMC.
Try reading the forums and doing a bit of research. Might stop you looking like an idiot.
The dvd issue in the latest build is 99% fixed. The last 1% will come in the next build.
T3CH always opens a new forum thread with each release. Try reading them. They are linked from the T3CH homepage.
To see the latest things going on in the SVN (XBMC) then try looking here every so often and sort it by date. http://xbmc.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/xbmc/
Sorry if i may come over a bit harsh in my comments, but if you do not read up on things then expect problems and a lack of knowledge on how to fix them.
Fairly basic stuff.

I think they may have had problems getting in touch with us (Mike is on holiday this week and I thought they were going to email me but I never heard anything). I'm going to look into putting an updated version on the website tonight though just to keep things moving along :grin:

It was NOT T3CHs fault. It was an issue within XBMC.
Try reading the forums and doing a bit of research.
Don't really have the time, and not interested either in reading every thread on the whole site for info on some minor and temporarly issues.
Fact is that one build by T3CH was not working correctly. Just some days later some other build by some other guy surfaced on Pirate Bay and that one worked. Some days later than that another T3CH build came out that still didn't work. Not hard to draw some conclusions from that.
But enough about that now. Back to the skin.
Haven't checked the language files for the skin yet to see if I can change it manually, but the "check the weather" option sounds a bit wierd when you have another language than english. "Check the väder" in swedish for example, so if it's not already possible it would be nice to change the "check the" to each language.

Yep those are separate strings for translation
