I recently discovered the software upscaling option in the OSD but in my search of the forum/wiki i found hardly any information on their implementation. What settings are being used for bicubic and lanczos, and more importantly, has anyone tested which method seems to provide the best results? Thanks.

I'm guessing no one has answered because their names directly reflect what resampling method is used...

What settings are being used for bicubic and lanczos, and more importantly, has anyone tested which method seems to provide the best results?I have not tested them (nor am I sure if they are activated in XBMC for Linux) but in theory lanczos should provide the best result (at the expense of more CPU processing power).
