I'm extremely new to all of this, so I'm sorry if I'm presenting a question thats already been asked.
My friend gave me his soft modded xbox. I don't know what methods he used to modify it or what version it is or anything. But I was futzing around with the ftp files trying to make xbmc the main dashboard instead of evolution x. At first when I played around it would start up and say that xbmc failed to load... but at least it let me access the thing by ftp. So I tried some other stuff and it got stuck at the xbox opening X screen. So then I tried rebooting with the disc tray open. It opened some linux file that offer the option to restore to a backup. So I used it, but now I can't access the thing by ftp, I can't see evo x and most importantly I can't see xbmc!
Can anyone help me out here???? Please????
