last.fm handshake gives up too early?

Hi, I have a little feature request i'd like.

My media PC used a wireless lan card and xbmc starts up automatically at boot. Unfortunately it comes up before the wireless card, so last.fm handshake fails before the network is available. It then simply sleeps and doesn't try again.

Could the last.fm code check again at regular intervals, or have a definable pause at startup before handshaking?

I thought it did re-check. Charly would be the one to know.

It re-handshakes the next time it is trying to submit a song to lastfm.
