Hello every1 well I've messed up my xbox when it was working fine, I wish i hadn't messed with it.
I had installed the ndure softmod with unleashx dashboard and had it working for a couple of months no problem. I used it every day and it was great. I was planning to buy a load more and put them round the house so I can keep all my media on my home server.
I then decided to download the Auto Installer Deluxe disc ( v.3 i think ). I wanted XBMC as my main dash and didn't wanna mess with it as instructed on this site. I thought the AID disc would be perfect way as it has an option to install XBMC as the main dash. Well I followed the instructions but went crazy and installed tons of exra dashes and apps to try them out. Once it was installed I rebooted and came to the evox dash - well it looks like a dash but there's only two options, a settings one and somehing else. I'm sure evox is supposed to have a lot more to it than that. There's no options to launch anything else like XBMC.
I tried reinstalling from the AID disc and have gone through every dash and option on there, none of them have changed anything. I do see other dashes in the other partitions when I ftp back in but I cant launch them and this dash always stays as the main.
I gave up on it and for about a month and a half I've just left it. I've really wanted to get it working the whole time but haven't had the time. I've spared some time to do it now and thought I'd go back and do it the original way that worked.
Because I can still use ftp ( and i can't find the apps i used to get the saved on my usb stick ) i ftp'ed the two splinter cell saves into E:udata. I booted up splinter cell, start game, load, linux, check points and then it freezes. The controllers unresponsive and it sits there, not what happened last time!
Can anyone please help! I miss XBMC, listening to the streams as i get ready in the morning. No need to burn movies to disc, the Hak5 podcasts. I need it all back! The problem i I've forgotten everything about xbox hacking and I'm a complete noob again.
How can I fix this? I'm sure there's a lot of info that I've left out so ask away if you can help! I'll be online all day today as I'm off work so will respond pretty quickly. I really hope someone can help me fix this!
