View Full Version : Trouble with Voinage's TV-Links Plugin? Or Just Me?

Hi,

When choosing the "Movies" option in the TV-Links plugin, only movies that begin with a dot (e.g., "...and Justice for All") or a numeric (e.g., "2 Days in Paris") are displayed. From what I can tell, there is no "Next" option to page through more movies. When I go to the web site, I see that they do, in fact, have other movies as well. Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks.

Yes, everyone was and they didn`t even notice.

I uploaded the wrong version to the google code page, hahaha.

Just upped the new version and added the Asian sections also.

A-Z of movies

Asian section.

Thanks MrGlass, Good spot Sir.

Voinage is a LIAR!
There is not really an A-Z selection of movies. It is A-Y, well two Y's. The first Y is actually the Z's. It's not really a big deal. Just a minor oversight that I found while scrolling to the bottom of the list. There aren't really even that many cool movies that start with Z anyway. Other than the typo, things are working nicely with this revision.
I love these plugins man. Keep up the good work.

TV-Links is not working correctly for me. It loads up slowly when clicking into anything and will give the list of shows but when clicking on a show wont give results.
heres my log http://pastebin.ca/1048686 thanks

There are no errors , it`s the server.

It`s based in china and it`s very slow at certain times of the day.

You are in competition with the tv links users of china - there are quite a few of them.

Try working out a time when china is asleep

Exactly. The same problem occurs with the normal browser.

Voinage would i be possible to store a local database of the link names once resolved and have the plugin use a name server to check the time in china and, if it's peak times, simply use the database it's already got. If it's at a fast time it could update the database. We'd miss out on any changes to the database since last use. Could perhaps als obe a rule that if the database is more than say, 2 weeks? old it will prompt whether to update or try the stored.

I know links would likely be far too much hastle but this might at least bring the waiting times a little ;)

Also a filter to, for example isolate googlevideo/veoh links would be pretty cool too ;)

Course these are icing on an already mouth-wateringly, tantilisingly sweet cake. ;)

I *meant* to say categories ;)

Yeah suppose i will have to. I`m starting to get fed up with myself.

I`ll have a play.

I`ll add some more sort methods as well.
