View Full Version : No A/V menu in playing menu on XTV
Looked through the threads but couldnt find anything about this little problem. In the menu when playing a video there is audio and video settings, they work fine in PMIII but in XTV they remain blank, so no screen stretching or correcting an A/V lag.
Reads familiar to anyone else? Or better yet, someone with a solution?
Update your skin to the latest version I fixed it about a week ago

Thanks mate! I was afraid I was stuck with PGIII for a while there! :)
Hey, I Noticed the same problem in the Xvt skin and the Aeon skin. What caused it and could it be manually fixed by end-users?

Since the Mac users don't have SVN access, could you provide a permanent link to the xTV updates? I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by all of us xTV fans.
xTV is a great skin and the only skin I like to use. Keep up the great work!
It looks like CHI3f is providing a link for updates.

I don't want to create a new thread since this also pertains to xTV. When playing a video, how am I supposed to get back to the menus with an Apple Keyboard? Pressing 'x' to stop the video doesn't allow me to resume from where I left off.
'Esc' doesn't go back to the menus like it does on the PMIII skin.
I'd like the functionality of the "B" or "X" buttons on XBOX w/ Xbox Controller. Something to navigate menus either while the video is playing, or to temporarily stop the video with auto-resume enabled.
Any hints / suggestions? Thanks so much!
godmoney the TAB key is supposed to take you in and out of fullscreen playback of both music and videos if elan has changed the keymap to ESC I have no idea

How exactly does one access the svn on a mac???
It looks like CHI3f is providing a link for updates.
Is CHI3f a user? Tried searching and nothing turned up.... In any case a link would be much appeciated.

Yes, your link (http://blackbolt.x-scene.com/Jezz_X/xTV_rev1377.rar) was much appreciated and solved my issues. I assume that isn't a permanent one though and so each time XBMC gets updated and there's a problem with a skin then it would be nice to have a link in the OSX section/FAQ somewhere. Unfortunately the information in the skinning section and in fact most sections doesn't apply very easily to OSX. Perhaps that's just my inexperience with XBMC. It's just that every time I go in there I see utilities and such for Windows and Linux and moving them over to OSX isn't trivial. For these reasons I rarely leave the OSX section. Perhaps it's time to look around a bit more...

I guess it comes down to unless someone is willing to make and maintain (you will need a win32 box to make them anyway) and upload them all the time there isn't really a lot you guys can do other than wait. But if you look in chi3fs sig he does ahave a permanent link to the skins though they may not be updated as often.
Think of it the same way as elan programs the osx port he constantly makes changes to it but you guys only get a new version every now and then same goes with the skinning SVN its where we develop the skins and is the cutting edge place but unless something breaks you rarely need it as a user
And no I don't permanently host it but like this time if it totally breaks or you really need an update (Like one coming soon) I am more than happy to upload a new one
