Hello people.... this is my first post on this forum, so go easy :p
I'm farily new to the whole softmodded scene, so I appologise in advance if my questions / requests sound a tad naive!
Right down to my problem, I purchased a sofmodded xbox sometime ago from ebay and absolutely love it. Yesterday evening, I attempted an upgrade of XBMC to the latest version (2.01).
Anyway to cut a long story short, I partially deleted the E:\apps\xbmc folder and on re-boot, got a flashing red/green circle and the dreaded XBOX service screen.
Now here's the good news, I can boot the xbox using the eject button and it loads softmod installer deluxe including ftp access. Great I thought, and transferred my original backup up XBMC folder back to the xbox. However on reboot, I still get the flashing red/green circle etc.
Now here's my question, I note from the softmod installer options, that I can do things like...
Restore MS Backup
Restore Mod Backup
.... and a whole other pile of stuff.
Obviously because im a noob to this, I don't want to touch anything on this screen, as its my lifeline for FTP access! Can anyone give me any advice as to what to do next?!
