My xbox boot straight to xbmc.

For some reason i lost the original ms dashboard. I use long power button to boot to xbmc and short power button push to boot to original. When i boot to original xbox dashboard i will get message contact service and red light is blinking.

I tried installing ms dashboard using Auto-Installer.Deluxe.v4.10.Xbox-Hq. It copies bunch of files, but when i restart it will again display "contact service".

btw xbmc is working just fine.

Where do i get latest original ms dashboard and how do i install it ?

Ok i locked the hdd using config magic, but still same error.

It actualy displays error 21 that means :
21 - anywhere -

This error says that the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag

This occurs frequently when the xbox is unable to boot due to dashboard changes being made (ie Gcue true blue hasnt been resigned, parts of the stock dash are missing - incomplete FTP backups copied to a new HDD for example).

I reinstalled the ms dashboard using Auto-Installer.Deluxe.v4.10.Xbox-Hq and same thing happens. I can actually navigate to c:\xodash\ and run update.xbe or xonlinedash.xbe with no problem. But if i boot or run xboxdash.xbe from c drive I get contact service with error 21.

Any ideas ?
