I'm about to replace my existing dvd-5 (single layer) burner with a dvd-9 (dual layer) burner. Does the xbox have trouble reading home-burned DVD-9 discs? I mostly got the xbox and xbmc just to avoid burning discs at all, but still it will be necessary from time to time.
Over at videohelp.com there are very extensive threads on what dvd-5 and dvd-9 blanks will read correctly in hundreds of different dvd player models.
Will the xbox read everyone's homebrew dvd-9, regardless of who made the blanks, or only blanks from some manufacturers or none?
