I don't know what resources a screensaver has, but would it be possible to make a coverflow screensaver?
It would work like the normal iPod Touch coverflow, when the screensaver is activated during the playback of a song, it would scroll to the corresponding albums cover. When the song was changed it would scroll to the new song's cover...
Or maybe this could work better as a visualization? Would be nice for parties when you mostly (atleast at my place) just set the player to random, and use the web-interface to queue specific songs...
