Insering a DVD (video) hangs xbmc

Hi!

My XBMC works great in every aspect except for one thing: whenever I insert a DVD (video dvd, a movie) and click the play icon that appears in the lower right corner, xbmc simply hangs on me, happens with every single dvd I've tried, it just won't work. What can I do to fix this? I've bought a new LCD television and would like to use XBMC as a dvd-upscaler to 720p.

I'm new here to forgive my ignorance, how/where do I get the log? I can ftp into xbmc and all that, I just need to know where it is or how to create it?

1) not a debug log - see the wiki on how to create that
2) NEVER CUT LOGS - you are asking for help and are NOT in a position to tell whats relevant and not
3) finally you obviously have a bad update - your dll's are out of date

closing thread, I decided to reinstall the whole darn thing which solved this problem but startd another, starting a new thread about that.
