XBMC Lag

Since a build from September/October and builds farther on of XBMC, including the T3CH release from 1/13 XBMC has lagged a lot whenever I go from Music Library to visualizer or from video browsing to full screen. It also lags whenever I hit the back button to go back to home screen or other menus, and if I am running the MC360 skin (again most recent build) it lags when I change blades.

I don't know if this is related but about the same time it started lagging I have duplicates of all the Xbox's hard drives and it's DVD drive in the files manger. They are the exact same and I could use whichever menu option I want.

the "duplicates" are unrelated. They recently made it so XBMC doesn't actually have to have a sources.xml file to run. All partitions are auto-detected, and sources are added accordingly. Thats why you are seeing two, there are the ones in your sources and then the auto-detected ones as well.

Thanks for the duplicates answer, but any idea about the lag? Depending on what I'm doing the lag is 1 - 10 seconds. (Closer to 1 when navigating, up to ten when going to full screen visualizer/video). I know the lag isn't a network problem because many of my videos are on my Xbox's HDD.
