Hi there all,
sorry for the noob question, a friend of a friend has modded my xbox for me, which works great but the partioning is all wrong, my problem is the lba48 issue.
I need to update my bios currently evox M8 1.6.

Not too sure where i can find another bios and not sure how to update it, or changes needed to the evox.ini file to recognise it.

the hard drive i am installing is 320gb it appears c: is right 500mb or so E: 5gb F:120 gb.

i dont need to know too much just point me in a direction that would help please.i have speant the last 12 hours googling (cause he is my friend) to try and sought this out.

I have xbpartioner but because of the lba48 issue it wont work,

the chip itself has bios from cromwell

Thanks

Chris

Hmm. You aren't going to find a lot of people to help you with this one. The information is out there but due to legal reasons and forum rules, people are not allowed to answer your questions directly.

What you want is fairly easy. Do some Google searches for Auto Installer Deluxe, which will have the Bios and probably some other installation programs to help.

Word filter won't allow me to post any other helpful links. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Sorry but this as absolutly nothing to do with XBMC and thus do not belong in the XBMC support forum, this forum is only for thing relating to XBMC directly (not indirectly). Please refer to xbox-scene.com (http://www.xbox-scene.com) (and their tutorials, FAQ, and forums) for everything that have to do with the modding process (which includes BIOS flashing/upgrades and harddrive upgrades/replacements/partitioning/formating).
