View Full Version : UPnP server - possible to share mapped SMB?
when i click on upnp i get the chance to choose whcih folders to share. it only seems to want to let me share local disk though. All my music is on NAS can i share than via upnp?

No. Moving to the feature suggestion forum.
Better would to be to get a NAS that features an UPnP server nativly than to run both the Xbox and a NAS to share files over UPnP to some other device.

indeed. i have media stored on the xbox and other devices on the network yet its all mapped on the xbox. for me being able to share it all under one upnp server would be ideal :)

I believe you can share XBMC's library, which can contain smb links.
