-----------------
Navi-X is a media browser which allows you to browse and play video files, audio files, show images and shows text files. Navi-X can be compared with a web browser but it uses PLX playlists files instead of HTML files. Like web pages PLX-files can be located anywhere on the internet but they can also be located locally on your Xbox.

Navi-X allows people to create their own playlists without having to know how to develop a Python script. PLX Playlist are simple text files and can be edited with any text editor like notepad (see below for the formatting). Playlist can also link to other playlist which is similar to HTML files.

Navi-X allows people to share and manage their own playlists. For example a user can develop a playlist and upload it to a HTML server. Many people already have a personal website. Just upload the playlist to your website and share the link with others. Changes made to your playlists will be visible to others immediately.

Any chance you can make a Xephyr (widescreen) skin based interface?

Different skins is something that is planned for the next coming releases (although not for Navi-X 1.9 yet).

Many people have send me feedback, also via e-mail. Thanks for all the positive feedback and requests. I think I will need a development team by now to fulfill all your requests.

Rodejo,

your script is fantastic! I love it.
I'm trying to add Raiclick (http://www.raiclicktv.it) using their RSS but to get the stream url I need to load the "playing page" and filter their base64 string.
Basically: the RSS points to a page that would be normally used to start the player that has the base64 address but I cannot use it as final URL for XBMC. I need to process also this page.
How can I force the Navi-X to load another a page coming from a RSS and scan for a base64 address without displaying anything more?

I know that there is a raiclick.py already but I was trying to add it to Navi-X as exercise (and take advantage of the download feature as well).

Anyhow, very good job!

I'd just like to say a huge thanks for making and maintaining this script. It adds so much to XBMC, without a doubt my most used script.

Also I'd like to point out that Revision3 has a new show not on the playlist, called The Digg Reel:

Would it be possible to allow either background downloading, or at least some way of being able to play a video while downloading, so the xbox won't have to be tied up while downloading a video?

Nobody likes onions (comedy) http://feeds.feedburner.com/nlo
Extra Life Radio (not sure how to classify but comedy for simplicity) http://myextralife.com/ftp/radio/rss.xml
and

Hulu is now open to all...any chance it can be scraped or is it even accessible?

The author of Navi-X doesn´t live in the US (or does he? ;) ). Hulu is just for US-residents.

No, he does not live in the US.......

Checked Hulu but (sadly) cannot view the videos. But if someone else in the US can create a scraper this would be great.

hi - im really liking this script atm, seems quite solid in what it does.
Would it be possible to auto-login to Youtube so as to access the saved playlist there? It really is a lot easier to maintain a playlist with the internet compared to the remote.

Failing that, would it be possible to create playlists/organise the favourites?

As I said, I loving your script at the moment.
Keep up the good work!
