View Full Version : 16:9 resolution questions
I have been looking all over the web for any similar questions but haven't found anything that fits. I just got a HD component cable for my Xbox and am running the latest build from T3CH. Whenever I put my screen resolution at 16:9 everything looks fantastic with the default skin until I get into the Music tab and on the left side menu scroll down. As soon as I get to "Switch View" the screen freezes. I can switch to file view and everything works but it doesn't show my album covers and that has taken up most of my time. My other question is about the available views in 16:9. I don't have the 3D album view or the nice scrolling DVD view in the Movie tab.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm using the default PMIII skin and any resolution that is 16:9 - it really doesn't matter. All the issues appear to be under the "Music - Library" heading. Switching from 4:3 to 16:9 appears to lose 4 view settings under Music Library - including my favorite "3D List". The other thing I notice is that the screen menu is slightly different: instead of having "Library Mode" with a check box as the third option, it shows "Switch View" which I believe is from an older build. As soon as I scroll onto "Switch View" things are frozen there - can't choose music or scroll off unless I go back to main screen. I am looking for PMIII to reinstall but when I go to any sites it just lists that it is included in the T3CH build.

Sounds like you have old files floating around in the PAL16x9 folder.
Delete the skin entirely and reupload.
Thanks for your help - I've been overwriting the skin files but for some dumb reason never thought to delete them first. That's all it took and all the resolutions at 16:9 look great although the 1080i is noticeably slower when switching between menus.
